Can all inventions be protected by patents?
What about data analysis and information processing, computer programs and systems?
When is the right time to apply?
What needs to be taken care of?
Many people have asked themselves these questions and more, and we will try to answer them at our next morning meeting on February 1. Einar Karl Friðriksson from Árnason Faktor will give a short talk and also sit on a panel together with our other member companies who have looked at their options for intellectual property protection for their work.
A new report from the Icelandic Intellectual Property Office on foreign patent applications by Icelandic companies in the field of life sciences will also be presented.
The house opens at 08:15 with breakfast and coffee.
The meeting then starts promptly at 08:45.
